Today, I got around to playing with Ableton, just see if I could get the hang of the DAW. At first, I considered it quite intimidating and even now I still consider it a bit of a challenge to the hang of. Knowing myself, I decided to bite the bullet and keep going. It might take me some time to get used to it all, but I am sure that I am going to make pretty good music sooner or later.
This track is called Foggy Memories. It’s my attempt at making something that’s smack dab between house music and some other form of electronic music. It was the first thing that came to my mind and I figured I’d give it a go.
Ableton makes it much easier for me to see my idea comes to life. I can loop various instruments and styles, and keep them playing, as I look through other selections. This track might need more work and as I listen to it, I feel the need to add some additional elements.
Will keep at it.
